This album is a collection of small pieces and transcriptions for wind instruments left by Albisi, who was also a prolific composer. The works are unpretentious, light-hearted, joyful, imaginative and creative, and with the exception of the flute trio "Small Suite No. 1," all of the pieces are world premiere recordings. Members of the Albisi Ensemble are professors at various Italian conservatories (Milan and Novara) and orchestral players with the Teatro alla Scala, the Milan and Turin Radio Orchestras, the Teatro San Carlo in Naples, the Rossini Festival in Pesaro, the San Remo Symphony Orchestra, the Bergamo Symphony Orchestra He is also an orchestral musician.
