The original works of the French composers are paired with their small pieces (except Ravel's) arranged by Heifetz to emanate charm. Milhaud's "Cinema Fantasy," written for a Chaplin film, is the original for the masterpiece "Cow on the Roof. Also to be heard is Gonzalez Buahasan's exquisite rendering of the Spanish feel of Poulenc's Violin Sonata, written in memory of Garcia Lorca, with Gonzalez Buahasan at the piano. King International
