Shiva Feshareqi is a young Iranian-British composer and turntablist active in the contemporary music, dance, and electro music scenes, and has received numerous awards including the BBC Young Composer Award and the Royal Philharmonic Society Composition Award. The Etheric World is a dynamic work in which the surrealistic sounds of electronics collide with the exquisite sounds of organ and chorus, creating a mysterious and beautiful music similar to Ligeti's Eternal Light and Atmospheres. Daphne Oram is one of the pioneering composers of British electronic music.
