Jack Bruce, bassist and lead vocalist for the 1960s supergroup Cream and a legendary artist who influenced many musicians around the world, passed away in 2014, and now his masterpiece is back! Released in February 1993 on the German jazz label CMP, "Something Else" features his old friend Eric Clapton on guitar on three tracks and has an atmosphere reminiscent of the Cream era and Jack Bruce's very early solo work. Pete Brown, who has collaborated with Jack Bruce on lyrics since the Cream era, also participates in the songwriting of seven of the songs on this album. The album is an adult contemporary work with a calm atmosphere and a lot of skill, and has been re-released in a paper jacket, long-awaited by fans!
