Luminous Witches" was announced in 2018 as the centerpiece of the 10th anniversary of the "World Witches" series, including "Strike Witches". Unlike the Witches of the Joint Combat Wing, who protect everyone by fighting, the new Witches, who protect everyone's smiles with their "songs and music," attracted a great deal of attention and immediately began auditions for the main cast. Prior to the TV anime broadcast, they have released four CD singles and two Blu-ray recordings of their activities, as well as live performances at major stages such as "Mindeki" and "Mu Fest. ～In February 2022, they held their first solo live "Luminous Witches 1st LIVE ～On your mark! Finally, the long-awaited TV anime will start airing this July 2022! The new Witches' activities will be vividly visualized by a powerful staff and a talented studio! The original story is by Fumikane Shimada & Projekt World Witches.The series is directed by Akishi Saeki, who wrote the script and storyboard for "Strike Witches" episode 6 "It's Together" and "Strike Witches 2" episode 6 "Higher Than the Sky", both of which are still talked about by Witches fans as god episodes, and has also directed many other works. Kazuya Ushiotsuki, who has participated in "Assault Lily BOUQUET" and many other Shaft productions, will be in charge of character design. Animation production will be handled by Shaft, a very talented studio that has produced the "Monogatari" series, "Puella Magi Madoka Magica" series, and many other popular works! With a solid staff, the new Witches, who play "songs and music" while flying through the sky, will be vividly visualized in the film! The nine new voice actors who have worked together as the Luminous Witches will finally give their passionate performances in the TV anime! The main cast features nine new voice actors: Mai Narumi, Minako Hosokawa, Ami Aimoto, Ryo Mamiya, A Kaede Tsuzuki, Kana Furunaka, Misaki Yugi, Rino Yoshikita, and Rio Mamesaki! After auditioning, the girls have already released CDs and appeared in numerous live performances.Finally, "Luminous Witches" will be given new life as a TV anime! In addition, the role of Grace, the leader of the girls, will be played by Mikako Komatsu, a talented voice actress who has been active in many productions. The new voice actors and the talented voice actors will bring the characters of the anime "Luminous Witches" to life!
