Description:
A female-fronted extreme metal band, steadfast in its solitary, heavy sound, heralds the dawn of a new era in an increasingly chaotic world with its second album!! The new roar of the wild cats echoes! This female-fronted extreme metal band, steadfast in its solitary heaviness, heralds the dawn of a new chapter in a world plunged into deep turmoil with its second album!! Formed in 2017. After several lineup changes, they settled on their current four-piece configuration—featuring a single guitarist—in 2021. Centered around main songwriter Suzukusa—who draws heavily on authentic heavy metal and melodic death metal—the band features Raizo’s death vocals and clean vocals; JUN’s bass lines, which highlight his desire to incorporate as much melody as possible into the music; and VAYA’s rhythm-building approach, informed by his background in progressive rock—all of which have allowed the band to mature over time. Following their debut EP “UndefinedPoint” (2022), the band released their first album, “WhistlingArrow” (2024), which topped the weekly charts at metal specialty stores. Their subsequent 2025 venue-exclusive EP, “Regeneration” (2025), was made available to the general public in 2026 due to popular demand. Despite being a previously released work, it also topped the same weekly chart, drawing the attention of fans and industry insiders alike. On this second album, “ConvergentEvolution” (2026), while maintaining the existing format, the band demonstrates a commitment to each member’s musical growth through the inclusion of solos in various sections and the introduction of instrumental tracks. While the so-called “melodic death metal” element has diminished, the album adopts approaches from diverse genres, synthesizing the accumulated experience of the current lineup over the past five years, and stands as an ambitious work that hints at the band’s next evolutionary step. The band’s second album, *ConvergentEvolution*, will be released on August 28, 2026, via Black-listed Records.
