Tchaikovsky (1840-1893)

Description:

The NAXOS label is proud to present Slovak-born composer and conductor Peter Breiner. His series of arrangements are all colorful, sometimes even more interesting (!) than the originals. The arrangements are all colorful and sometimes even more interesting than the originals. The "Go Baroque" series and Janacek's works, for example, all have the power to captivate the listener instantly, making these albums a favorite of many. Tchaikovsky (1840-1893) has previously been featured in the violin and orchestra version of his piano piece "The Four Seasons" (8.553510) and in a collection of arrangements of his songs (8.225921), but this time he has arranged arias from his operas "The Queen of Spades" and "Voevoda" (The Provincial Secretary) for orchestra. This time, arias from the operas "The Queen of Spades" and "Voevoda" are arranged for orchestra, showing us a new charm. I had no idea that "Voevoda," which is little known except for the overture, had such a wonderful tune. This is truly an eye-opening collection of music. Naxos Japan
