Directed by Ted Kotcheff, who later directed "Rambo" and "Seven from Hell. The screenplay is by Peter Stone, known for "Charade. The French cooking master Paul Boguse served as a consultant for the superb cuisine that appeared one after another in the film. Even more striking than the cuisine is the beauty of Jacqueline Bisset in her prime. The film is gorgeously decorated with a lineup of famous actors from Europe and America, including George Segal, Robert Morley, and Philippe Noiret. (Robert Morley won the National Film Critics Award and the LA Film Critics Award for Best Supporting Actor for this film.) The Japanese dubbed TV version (TV Asahi's "Sunday Night Movie Theater" version) is included for the first time. The dubbed audio is the original audio and Japanese subtitles for the parts that are not included in the soundtrack.
