The young Italian-British conductor Robin Titiati, born in London in 1983, has been the principal conductor of the Scottish Chamber Orchestra since 2009, and his performances with the orchestra have been highly acclaimed in the UK and abroad. The oratorio "The Childhood of Christ," a major work first performed in 1854, will be performed with the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, one of Scandinavia's leading orchestras. Titiati, who will succeed Vladimir Jurowski as Music Director of the Glyndebourne Festival in January 2014, has close ties to Sweden, having served as Principal Conductor of the Jevre Symphony Orchestra from 2006 to 2009. Titiati and the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra have deepened their relationship through repeated collaborations as guest conductors.And the Swedish Radio Choir, renowned as the world's finest choir, harmonize beautifully in the oratorio "The Childhood of Christ" --.
