The second release from Paralydium, an astonishing prog metal band formed by John Berg, ex-Dynazty, with current Dynazty members and others! Former DYNAZTY guitarist and composer John Berg invited current DYNAZTY drummer George H. Egg and bassist Jonathan Olsson to join the "PARALYDIUM PROJECT" as a trial run. The band's debut album "Worlds Beyond" was released the following year in 2020. The album was a great introduction to the possibilities of prog metal, and was greatly welcomed by the scene. However, due to the Corona disaster in 2020, the band was not able to play any live shows, so leader and composer John Berg took the time to write songs and complete the music for the new album.For this album, singer Mikael Seelin (now AMARANTHE), who gave a lively and positive performance on the debut album, has been replaced by Alexander Rikke, a talented singer from his native Sweden. His vocals are somewhat different from Mikael's, with a more precise and profound atmosphere, adding a new charm to the band. The first track on the album, "Prelude," is followed by the second track, "Sands Of Time," which shows a solid response to the fusion of new singer Alexander Ricke and the band. The other songs are also full of well-crafted songs with John Berg at the center. Parts 1 and 2 of "The Arcane Exploration" are over 11 and 13 minutes long, respectively, and are monumental songs that show the fruition of their talent and passion. The new album is a worldwide release by Paralydium, a band that shows the new possibilities of prog metal! The Japanese version includes an acoustic version of "Caught In A Dream"!
