The Japanese edition of their revival album (released in 2021) and a collection of two unearthed recordings released in 2018 will be reissued at the same time! Candy Opera is a neo-acoustic/guitar pop band formed in Liverpool in 1982. Without any official releases of their music, in 2018 they suddenly announced and astonished the public with the long-awaited reissue of their found sound collections "45 Revolution Per Minute" and "Rarities" as a 2 in 2 CD set! The Go! Candy Opera, a "phantom band" that broke up in 1993 after 10 years of activity, despite invitations from Discus and EMI, never released any official recordings. 25 years later, in 2018, the band suddenly released two unearthed recordings, "45 Revolution Per Minute" and "Rarities. Rarities".Two archival works that, if they had been released on-time, would have been hailed alongside their hometown Pale Fountains, as well as Aztec Camera, Prefab Sprout, Deacon Blue, Style Council, and others, have been reissued as a long-awaited 2 in 2 CD set!
