Composer, arranger, producer, and producer of many TV, animation, commercials, movies, and stage productions, including music for the "Doraemon" movie series (1999-2005), NHK Galaxy TV novels and NHK TV serials (Asadora), and "Gegege no Kitaro" (5th TV animation series). Katsumi Horii, arranger, producer, and professor at the Tokyo College of Music, recorded his first LA recording in the U.S. for his 5th album, an instrumental - fusion project featuring many top-notch musicians.Recorded at LION SHARE RECORDING STUDIOS in the U.S., it features RUSS FREEMAN (g), BRANDON FIELDS (ss) and other members of the LIPPINGTONS, BUZZ FEITEN (g), GERALD ALBRIGHT (as) and others. The Japanese lineup includes Hiroyuki Namba (key), Tomohito Aoki (b), Masaharu Ishikawa (ds), Jun Kajiwara (g), Masato Honda (ss), Hidefumi Toki (as, ss), Nobuo Yagi (harp), and many other top-notch musicians.
