This is the third and final album, which marks the fruitful results of Naoko Kawamura's two-year Beethoven Project. Naoko Kawamura's Beethoven has been acclaimed as "a definitive performance in which one feels as if a new image of Beethoven is being established before one's eyes," and her approach, as if to tear away the veil of legend accumulated on this composer and demythologize him, has been highly praised as a completely new interpretation. In addition to No. 29 "Hammerklavier," known as the largest and most complex of the 32 sonatas, there are three other sonatas: No. 27, which is an attractive entrance to the later period with its unique depth, and No. 26, each movement of which is entitled "Farewell," "Absence," and "Reunion. Every note breathes with suppleness, and the graceful spirit of the songs captures the listener's heart. This dense performance by Naoko Kawamura, whose reputation is rapidly growing and who has won the Suntory Music Award and the CD Shop Grand Prize, is sure to be the talk of the town as the final performance of the Beethoven Year!
