Graduated at the top of his class from the prestigious jazz school "Berklee College of Music". Winner of the "Herb Alpert Young Jazz Composer Award", a gateway to success for young jazz composers, for two consecutive years, and the "ISJAC/USF Owen Prize 2020"! This is the debut album of "Eri Chichibu," the first Japanese artist to win the triple award. Born in Sendai City, Japan. Composer and keyboard player. After graduating from Tohoku University, entered Berklee College of Music after many twists and turns. She majored in jazz composition, visual music, and game music, and graduated at the top of her class. His world-oriented compositions have received international recognition, including the 2019 ASCAP Foundation Herb Alpert Young Jazz ComposerAward and the 2020 ISJAC/USF Owen Prize! In July 2020, he will present "Sound Map ←2020→ Sendai," a suite of four movements that crosses jazz ensemble and environmental sounds with the concept of a short trip through Sendai.In addition to performing in nonet formations, string ensembles, marimba ensembles, and small bands, he also performs in jazz ensembles such as big bands, TV commercials, web movies, plays, and games, and provides music and arrangements for TV and radio stations. (Makoto Ozone feat. No Name Horses," "Biome," a reading play, NHK's "What Were You Doing That Day? , NTV's "All Japan University Women's Ekiden", khb's "Guriri Uta", NEXCO East Japan, Japan Post, Sunbending Tohoku, App game "EGGRYPTO", etc.).
