Description:
Séverre's lovingly toned clarinet Laloum's sparkling tone piano The charm of the songs of Schumann, Brahms and Wagner Two virtuosos further sublimate them with clarinet and piano! Two musicians deeply fascinated by German Romanticism, Raphael Sever and Adam Laloum, take us on a journey on the wings of song. They have arranged some of the most beautiful songs by Schumann, Wagner, and Brahms for clarinet and piano. Sever originally said that his clarinet repertoire was about 15 without exaggeration, and that he was always on the lookout for good pieces. One time I played a song on clarinet and it was so wonderful that I decided to make a CD of arrangements of songs. Without hesitation, they enlisted the help of pianist Adam Laloum, whose fond memories of their previous collaborations will never fade, and they immediately embarked on the project. The pieces were carefully selected to sublimate the relationship between poetry and music, and without the aid of words, they reveal all their poetic and indescribable colors. Raphael Sever was born in 1994.At the age of 12, she won the first prize at the 4th Young Clarinettists Competition; at 15, she was awarded the Victoire de la Musique "New Star of Instrumentalists"; in 2013, she won the International Young Concerts Artists in New York, as well as 8 out of 10 special prizes. Since then, he has performed with the world's most prestigious orchestras and has visited Japan for the La Folle Journée Music Festival. In addition to solo performances, he has performed chamber music with Modigliani, Ebène, and the Hanson String Quartet, among others. He is also a composer and has published several works. Adam Laloum was born in Toulouse in 1987, winner of the 2009 Clara Haskil International Competition and the 2017 Victoire de la Musique Instrumental Soloist of the Year. He is one of the most talented pianists of his generation. She performs with the world's most prestigious orchestras, as well as appearing at music festivals and performing chamber music.
