Scuba unleashes a timeless, uplifting energy on "GetUppp," his debut on Crosstown Rebels, and the Hotflush boss will release the album on November 21, 2025, with two tracks perfect for the late-night zone. Damian Lazarus-led Crosstown Rebels will release "GetUppp" with electronic music pioneer Scuba on the label. The two-track work combines the UK artist's trademark heavy bass with the uplifting grooves of house music. The title track glides over sinuous percussion, interwoven with subtle, soulful vocal nuances that steadily build into an irresistible groove that will send dance floors into a frenzy, while the B-side, "406 Dub," takes things even deeper. The stripped-down, immersive track sublimates the tension and spaceiness of dub techno into a sound that is hypnotic, trippy, and seductive. Always pushing the envelope, producer Paul Rose aka Scuba has been shaping the direction of underground music for over 20 years, from his early pivotal role in the UK dubstep movement to his era-defining role at Berlin's Berghain From his pivotal role in the early days of the UK dubstep movement, to his time-emblematic resident party SUB:STANCE at Berghain in Berlin, he has continued to evolve into techno, house, and beyond, while running the influential Hotflush Recordings label, which has produced artists such as Mount Kimbie and Joy Orbison. DJ Kicks, and Fabric. He has also released acclaimed mixes on labels such as DJ Kicks, Fabric, and Ostgut Ton, and has established himself as one of the sharpest minds in electronic music. After a well-received "Digital Underground" live tour in 2024 and headlining shows in Kyoto, Nagoya, Tokyo, Koh Phangan, Singapore, Danang, Shenzhen, Shanghai, and Beijing in Asia, Scuba will inject new energy with "GetUppp GetUppp. It captures the visionary sound that has made him one of the most influential figures in underground electronic music.
