SLOPE's 2nd Album "Freak Dreams" Fusing hardcore/punk attitude with deep funk/hip-hop influences, the band's free songwriting skills are remarkable! SLOPE is a five-piece formed in Duisburg, Germany in 2014. The avant-garde hardcore/punk band gained popularity on the indie hardcore label BDHW and released two hardcore/punk purity EPs, the Helix EP in 2014 and the Losing' Grip EP in 2017. With their follow-up album, 2021's Street Heat, the band acquired a songwriting skill set that was too free to be considered mutation and attracted a large fan base. SLOPE will release their new album "Freak Dreams" on Century Media! As in the past, in addition to the pure message of rebellion against the daily grind of working from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, personal struggles, unfulfilled situations, and doubts about the world, SLOPE's appeal lies in its unique groove. While based on a hardcore/punk sound, SLOPE overwhelms us with explosive songs that also manipulate outlandish rhythms, rap, and funk.The songs "Freak Dreams," "True Blue," and "It's Tickin'," which were released prior to the album's release, show that this band is out of the norm.
