She was discovered by producer Clive Davis while working as a model in New York City, and made her debut. The album was produced by a distinguished team of producers including Narada Michael Walden, Michael Masser, and Kasiff, and three singles, "Saving All My Love for You," "Greatest Love of All," and "How Will I Know," were cut. (Love is a Handful), which were cut as singles, reached No. 1 on the U.S. charts in three consecutive weeks. The album charted at No. 1 for a total of 14 weeks. To date, the album has sold over 22 million copies worldwide.
