Steve Howe, Jeff Downes, and John Davison met in England, while Alan White and Billy Sherwood met in a studio in the United States. Billy Sherwood and I recorded the entire rhythm section, bass and drums, in the U.S.," said Alan White. It helps to have a good work space," he laughs. And Billy is really good at recording, so we were able to get it done relatively quickly, and he spent quite a bit of time riffing on it before we went to LA, so it was ready to go.
