Description:
Oberlinger & Karamazov's Dialogue on Bach Music with Recorder and Lute won the 1997 SRP/Meck International Competition, debuted at the Wigmore Hall, and has since appeared at numerous European music festivals and concert series. The amazement at the music never stops! Her flexibility, brilliance and energy are extraordinary! Oberlinger has received high praise for her flexibility, brilliance, and energy. In this latest album, Oberlinger brings Bach's sound world to life with Edin Karamazov, one of today's most famous lutenists, also known for his work with Sting on the Dowland album "Labyrinth. The lute and recorder are paired in a series of new arrangements from a wide range of lute suites, cello suites, and harpsichord pieces, from solo pieces to sonatas for the bass continuo. Some of Bach's most famous works, such as the famous chorale prelude "Come, Savior of the Heathens," Bach's arrangement of the oboe concerto BWV 974 by Italian composer Alessandro Marcello, and two flute sonatas are performed with the recorder and lute. Bach's most famous works, such as "Concerto BWV974" and two flute sonatas, will be performed with recorder and lute. The album closes with "Partita BWV1013," which is said to have been first written by Bach for Lautenwerk, with a solo performance of each of Bach's unaccompanied works in the middle. The combination of recorder and lute in this fresh Bach piece is even more beautiful than the original instrumental performance, and the overlap between the expressive recorder with its fine breathing and the beautiful resonant lute with its layered low open string tones is even more impressive than its rich tone quality.
