Australian band Girl and Girl will release their debut album, Call A Doctor. The album follows their 2023 digital release of the eight-song EP, Divorce +, which includes the standout singles "All I See" and "Dance Now." James describes the overall vision of the album, "This record is about individuals who are too stuck inside their heads and are trying to get out." But even as the album deals with topics that are unsettling to our own inner selves, it is important to emphasize how vital the music of Girl and Girl is. In fact, there is a brazen and bold sense of humor and an undeniable lightness in the darkness on Call A Doctor that makes it hard not to be drawn in as a listener.
