Debut album of the rising star of the guitar world, showing his various "faces" in arrangements of baroque music. His early guitar works as well as contemporary music and his various arrangements continue to receive critical acclaim. He is the winner of the 2018 ICAC (International Concert Artist Competition) category of the GFA (Guitar Foundation of America) International Guitar Competition, the gateway to success for the world's most renowned guitarists. Soon after, he toured throughout the United States, Canada, Latin America, Europe, and China. Now 26 years old, he has signed a contract with Deutsche Grammophon. The album features new arrangements of baroque music originally written for keyboard, by Bach and French composers. Huijter chose the name "Visage" for this album because of the many faces of Baroque music, from the brightness of Vivaldi's concertos to the calm clarity of Bach's preludes and the sophistication of the French harpsichord masters. But the program of this album also reveals a new "face" of the music when arranged for one instrument to another, and a new "face" of the guitar's infinite range of sounds.The arrangements of Bach and French Baroque composers (Rameau, Folklé, Royer, Dufry) include his fellow guitarists, including two of Fouillatre's mentors.
