Solo album by Joe Goddard of the popular electro-pop band Hot Chip! Producer and songwriter Joe Goddard, a member of Hot Chip, has released his third solo album "Harmonics" on the Domino label. The album is a collection of 14 tracks of left-field dance music including UK garage, house, hip-hop, pop, and disco. Guest collaborations abound, from the Afro house "Progress," featuring vocals by Eno Williams of Ibibio Sound Machine, to the boom-bap track "When Love's Out of Fashion," featuring UK rapper Oranje, to the ex-Wild Beasts' "When Love's Out of Fashion! to UK rapper Oranje on the boom-bap track "When Love's Out of Fashion," former Wild Beasts frontman Hayden Thorpe providing vocals on the bass house "Summon," and Hot Chip bandmates Alexis Taylor and Al Doyle.Others include Tom McFarland of the London dance group Jungle, Bronx-raised singer Fiorious, Guinean vocalist Falle Nioke, and UK jazz musician Alabaster DePlume. In light of a world that is often forcibly divided, they have completed a work that is inclusive and full of love, celebrating harmony, empathy, and creation.
