Debut disc is Ravel!Formed in 2015 by pianists and composers Elia Faccini and Bezzavea Faccini, the Italian-British brother-sister duo Faccini Piano Duo was founded by Riccardo Peruzzi at the Luigi Boccherini Conservatory in Lucca. They have participated in master classes with musicians of the highest level, including Beatrice Lana, Agrika Genova, Reuben Dimitrov, Sivan Silver, and Gilles Gabourg, among others, and have developed their expertise. The ensemble is one of the most acclaimed chamber music ensembles of the new generation of Italian musicians, having won top honors and prizes in numerous international competitions in Italy and abroad. The ensemble is also active in performance, frequently performing their own compositions and arrangements at concerts, where they are highly acclaimed by the audience. This debut album couples Ravel's original works and arrangements for piano duet.From "Introduction and Allegro," written for harp, flute, clarinet, and string quartet, to "Spanish Rhapsody" for four-handed piano, "La Valse," one of Ravel's most famous works, "Daphnis et Chloe," and "Bolero" to close the album.
