This is an imported CD. Human Impact, a band made up of members of Unseen & Cop Shoot Cop. Gone Dark", the second album by the NY noise legends, released with a new bass/drums and a more intense and tight upgrade. Human Impact, the precision laser-like noise-rock band from Unsane frontman Chris Spencer and Jim Coleman of Cop Shoot Cop, is releasing its second album, Gone Dark. Gone Dark is not a cry from the darkness, but a cry through the darkness, a powerful declaration of resilience and defiance in the face of the oncoming apocalypse. With the addition of two noise-rock veterans, bassist Eric Cooper (Made Out of Babies, Bad Powers) and drummer Jon Syverson (Daughters), Human Impact's arsenal is more formidable than ever. Spencer was working out of a cabin in the woods of East Texas at the time of the 2020 Covid lockdown when he traveled to Austin for an informal jam session with the two in the bassist's garage. Friendly playing of old Unsane tunes resulted in the rhythm section being fully absorbed into the Unsane and Human Impact lineup for the 2022 European tour. Recorded at Austin's Cedar Creek Studio with co-producer Andrew Schneider (Ken Mode, Cave In), Gone Dark features Human Impac's taut grooves, bitter guitar shreds, fervent shouts and dark clouds of noise, with a fiercer, tighter upgrade. *From the information above.
