A beautiful encounter of music, nature and technology. The long-awaited visual product of this shocking "raw biophilia" is now available! Bjork's innovative multimedia project "Biophilia" aims to "make nature and the forces of nature look like rock stars (in a cool way)" by visualizing music from a scientific perspective, while utilizing the forces of nature = gravity and electricity in a primitive way. Biophilia. Collaborating with app developers, scientists, writers, inventors, musicians, and instrument makers, Björk's spectacular multimedia project explores the universe and its physical forces, especially the encounter between music, nature, and technology. The theme of the work is "How does sound physically move in space, and what does it have in common with the universe?" The theme of the work was "How does sound move physically in space, and what does it have in common with the universe?" and its custom-made instruments (the Gravity Harp, which plucks strings with gravity; the Gumrest, a fusion of gamelan and celeste; the Singing Tesla Coil, a giant transformer) and novel experiments created with a female choir from Iceland were the subject of much discussion. The film is scheduled to be screened on September 3, 2013. This work was recorded live at Alexandra Palace in London on September 3, 2001, the last day of the tour, and is synchronized with the live performance, making full use of images of the natural world and computer graphics to convey the world of "Biophilia" in its entirety.For those who were able to experience "live biophilia" and the many Bjork fans who did not, this is a much-anticipated release. The DVD includes a documentary on Bjork's visit to the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation (Miraikan) in Japan (July 2013), as well as a special feature film on Bjork's performance at the Miraikan in Japan (July 2013).
