Hisaishi Joe's second album for Deutsche Grammophon is a collection of classical works focusing on the finely honed skills and sensitivity of the classical composer and conductor, including the world premiere recording of "Symphony No. 2," which was first performed in Kyoto in 2021 and conducted by Hisaishi himself with the Vienna Symphony Orchestra and the Musikverein. The world premiere recording of "Viola Saga" features renowned viola soloist Antoine Tamestit. It is also the lead track of this album and has been highly acclaimed since its premiere in Japan in 2022. Universal Music
