Essentially, this is KINGDIAMOND minus King Diamond (vo), with vocals handled by Nils K. Ruu of the veteran Norwegian prog-power-metal band PAGAN’SMIND. Here, a soul-stirring debut album has been released by this supergroup that holds absolute dominion over heavy metal! Their sound explodes with a dark, hard-hitting, and epic worldview—directly in the vein of Merciful Fate and King Diamond—along with dramatic, classic metal! Nils showcases King-style screaming and high-pitched vocals, delivering a fantastic album that lives up to fans’ expectations! Plus, the mind-blowing performances by Andy LaRocque and Mickey Dee are sure to thrill fans! Most of the production took place at Andy LaRocque’s “Sonic Train Studio,” resulting in a rich, high-quality sound.
