California extreme metal band Exmortus has signed with Nuclear Blast and released their first new album in five years. The band's style, which incorporates thrash, death, and neoclassical elements, is a perfect fusion of brutality and melody, and is one-of-a-kind! Exmortus is an extreme metal band from California, formed in 2002. After releasing several demos and EPs, they signed with Heavy Artillery Records in New York, which was playing a major role in the thrash revival movement at the time, and made their album debut in 2008 with "In Hatred's Flame". Since then, they have consistently released high-quality albums such as "Beyond the Fall of Time" (2011), "Slave to the Sword" (2002), "Ride Forth" (2004), and "The Sound of Steel" (2006). And now they have signed a contract with German major, Nuclear Blast, and are releasing their first new album in five years. Although I described them as an "extreme metal band" at the beginning of this article, the band's style is truly unique, incorporating technical thrash, death metal, and even neoclassical flavors.The lyrics are strongly fantastical, and while keeping the spirit of heavy metal, the speed and brutality of thrash metal and death metal are also incorporated. The spirit of this album, titled "Necrophony," is no different. The band's melodic riffs and fast twin-guitar solos shine through the intense music, and the album is sure to appeal to fans of all styles of extreme metal as well as to fans of orthodox heavy metal!
