A progressive/alternative metal band from Finland. Their fourth studio album. A cutting-edge progressive sound from a group of technical musicians. Silentium’s female vocalist Riina Rinkinen makes a guest appearance on one track. A five-piece progressive/alternative metal band from Finland. Their fourth studio album. Their musical style draws on a wide range of influences, from Pink Floyd, Iron Maiden, and Alice in Chains to Depeche Mode. Formed as a four-piece in December 2018, they recorded three songs. These tracks caught the attention of British-Finnish vocalist Stephen Baker, who wrote the lyrics for one of them, “The Truth Is So Dead,” that very same day. They recorded the song the next day, and he officially joined the band. Their debut album, “Planted Feet,” which explores themes of social and environmental crises, was released in 2020. In January of the same year, they performed their first live show at Vernissa, a renowned venue in Vantaa, Finland, delivering a dramatic performance. The entire show was filmed and is available to watch on YouTube. In 2021, they welcomed the talented female drummer Marianne Heikkinen (Rabbit Cult, Jess By The Lake) and released the EP “The First Liquidation.” In 2022, they released their second full-length album, “Of Pearls & Perils,” featuring 12 anthemic tracks. The album received high praise from numerous media outlets and garnered significant attention, including airplay on prominent radio stations such as Germany’s SWR1. From 2023 to 2024, the band welcomed technical guitarist Zsolt Szilagyi (Dreamtale, After Infinity), released several singles, and recorded this album.
