This is the stunning debut album by Minas singer Myra Manga, who contributed all the music and arranged all the songs. All songs are written, arranged, and produced by Sergio Santos (guitar), one of Minas' most famous singer/songwriters, who has released many masterpieces and classic songs. The ensemble is composed of Jafael Martini (piano/accordion), Luca Haeri (clarinet), and Felippi Josée (cello/percussion), who combine flawless technique with unrestrained creativity to create an exquisite chamber music ensemble. Just listening to the bouncy piano and clarinet intro of the title track "LA," which opens the album, is enough to get your heart racing.In addition, the St. Petersburg Studio Orchestra's delicate and fluid string ensemble ((2) (5) (8) (10)), Andre Memari on piano (9), Vocal Brasileirão in the chorus (11)), and Hodorfo Stroeterre ( Contrabass (11)) bring a deeper and richer sound to the music. The tag team of Sergio Santos and Paulo Cesar Pinheiro, the greatest poet in the history of MPB, Brazil's best contemporary songwriters, have written 12 songs for a rare vocalist named Myra Manga. The songs are a gentle reminder of Brazil's critical state of nature and the importance of people loving each other in an age of division.
