Beauty Farm" is a six-member male vocal ensemble founded in 2014. The ensemble was founded in 2014 by six male vocalists who have performed in prestigious choirs and ensembles such as Collegium Vocale Ghent, Cinquecento, Grand Lavoie, Capilla Flamenca, and Huelgas Ensemble, and is based at the Cartesian Monastery in Mauerbach, Austria. The group sings mainly the music of Renaissance Franco-Flemish polyphony. This is the sixth album by Beauty Farm, which has received acclaim for its recordings of masses by Renaissance masters such as Okeghem and La Rue. Two masses by Jacob Obrecht, a Flemish composer who composed many masses (parody masses) from the melodies of chansons, secular songs, and chants popular at the time. The original chanson "The Goddess of Desperate Destiny" and the chant "The Precious and Gentle Mary" by Buenoit are also included in the recording, presenting an exquisite polyphony of high perfection.As is customary with Beauty Farm albums, the exciting and striking jacket design is also noteworthy.
