Andreas Gilger's collection of 17th century French clavesan works! Andreas Gilger is a harpsichordist of the young German generation, who in 2013 founded the Cicerone Ensemble (trio with baroque flute and baroque cello) and in 2019 released a CD (GEN 19648) on GENUIN titled Grand Tour, which made a splash. This long-awaited solo CD is based on a harpsichord made by Vaudry in Paris in 1681 and a French harpsichord made by Matthias Griewisch in 2020. The performance is wonderful, full of soft elegance.
