Debut release from Love Is Noise, a talent emerging from the UK alternative music scene. Love Is Noise is the new project of Cam Humphrey, whose lush sound blends influences from indie rock, metal, and post-punk. The band's name is taken from the song "Love Is Noise" from THE VERVE's album "Forth" (2008), a rising star in the UK alternative scene. Cameron says their highly anticipated debut album, To Live In A Different Way, will be something special. It's the story of a kid in Bolton trying to make sense of the world he lives in. It contains 11 songs filled with love, heartache, and dreamy melodies. Produced with recently departed guitarist Tom Mellon (who left the band after recording this album) and engineer Kel Pinchin, the band was conscious of trying to make this record like a live band, including mistakes. In an age where perfection is so prized, we wanted to do the exact opposite, and we challenged ourselves head-on to make it the kind of record that our idols were striving for." The songs on this album are raw and raw, with Cameron's throaty, emotional vocals bursting forth amidst cutting guitars and pounding drums. The earliest song released prior to the album's release, "Soft Glow," shines with hopeful lyrics and raw innocence, guided by Cameron's plaintive vocals. In contrast, the band's aggressive side is laid bare on "Jawbreaker," where Cameron's rich vocal delivery leaves a strong impression. The title track, the intoxicating "To live in a different way," is the pivotal song that made Cameron realize that this was going to be a solid record."When we recorded the demo version of this song, I cried tears of joy." I realized, "This song is for me. This song is for anyone who is looking for liberation, anyone who needs a sound that will take them to a better place." The phrase "Visions of you, let me escape this barren world" speaks to how we feel today. "Love Is Noise" will be released on Valentine's Day, 2025. Love Is Noise's debut album, "To Live In A Different Way," will be released on Valentine's Day 2025 and will leave a lasting impression on everyone who hears it.
