SHERINIAN/PHILLIPS LIVE", the first live album featuring Derek Sherinian and Simon Phillips, former members of Dream Theater and current members of Black Country Communion and Sons of Apollo, as well as numerous recording sessions, will be performed live by Derek Sherinian and Simon Phillips, two of the most respected rock keyboardists in the world. Derek Sherinian (keyboard), the greatest rock keyboardist of all time, performed live for the first time with Simon Phillips, his most respected drummer and longtime production partner for his solo work. The album "SHERINIAN/PHILLIPS LIVE" containing this performance will be released. Derek Sherinian, who has released nine solo albums, most recently "The Phoenix" (2020) and "Vortex" (2022), has been developing an ambitious solo career. However, the relationship with Simon Phillips, with whom Derek Sherinian has partnered on many of these albums, has been limited to studio work, as each has been extremely busy with other projects.Last summer, it was finally discovered that there was room in both their schedules for a solo performance at the club "The Grape" in Ventura, California, on August 29, along with an appearance at the "Starmus Festival" in Armenia (a festival of astronomy, space exploration, environmental protection, music, and art, of which Brian May is known as one of the founders). The songs on the album are from Derek's previously released solo works, but the name of the album is jointly used with Simon's.
