Mutant is proud to announce, in partnership with BackLot Music and DreamWorks Animation, the first-ever physical release (CD, vinyl, etc.) of the original soundtrack for *Forgotten Island*. In this film, the music plays a central role in the story and serves as a powerful symbol of the film’s emotions and culture. From the earliest stages, the three directors—Joel Crawford, Januel Mercado, and Mark Swift—were convinced that “the music needed to go beyond simply setting the tone for an adventure or emphasizing emotions.” The score had to not only transport the audience into the world of the protagonists, Jo and Raissa, but also deeply resonate with the history, unique character, and spirit of Filipino culture—which lies at the heart of the film. To bring this grand vision to life, composer Nathan Matthew David—who has deep roots and strong ties to Filipino artistry—was enlisted, giving rise to a truly one-of-a-kind collaboration. In addition to NathanMatthewDavid’s breathtaking score, the *Forgotten Island* soundtrack features numerous tracks by an all-star lineup of artists, including BINI, H.E.R., Liza Soberano, and SB19. A 2-disc set on 140g colored vinyl.
