Remastered From The Original Tapes By Matthew Lutens, The Lp Mastered By Bernie Grundman, And Pressed On 180G Weight Lp At Le Vinylist, This Previously Unreleased Set Was Recorded By Recording Engineer Bernard Drayton In 1967 In The New York It Was Recorded By Recording Engineer Bernard Drayton In 1967 At The Blue Morocco, A Jazz Spot In The Bronx Owned By Sylvia Robinson, Who Later Co-Founded Sugar Hill Records. The Collection Was Produced With The Full Endorsement Of The Trumpeter'S Son And Estate Administrator Duane Hubbard. Hubbard'S Work With Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers, His Participation In Historic Recordings By John Coltrane And Ornette Coleman, And His Brilliant Recordings As A Leader With Blue Note And Impulse, Have Made Him A Favorite Of Modern Observers, Who Consider Him The Late Came To Admire Him As An Outstanding Successor To Clifford Brown. On This Album, He Plays A Storming Set Of His Own Compositions And Cleverly Arranged Standards.
