Mozart's piano concertos, known for the complete works with the Mozarteum Orchestra, are again performed in a clean and graceful style that is very appealing. The rich sound of the orchestra, including the woodwinds, also adds to the charm. On the other hand, Ravel's piano was deeply resonant, and his performance was a masterpiece on a grand scale. This is a reminder that Anda was an incomparable virtuoso pianist. The archival master tape is in good condition, and the sound quality is easy to listen to even in mono. King International
