SALTYDOG, a band that made a unique mark on the American hard rock scene, is releasing *RawDoggin' Live*, a live album recorded in 1992. This album captures the band’s signature stage performances—a testament to their rise from clubs to arenas—and once again demonstrates their bluesy, gritty rock ’n’ roll and overwhelming musical prowess. After signing with Geffen Records with the backing of Vicki Hamilton, SALTYDOG took the prestigious clubs of Los Angeles by storm and expanded their popularity with a powerful sound reminiscent of early Led Zeppelin. In their live shows, they would whip the audience into a frenzy with their tight ensemble playing and extended jams, and it is said that even as the opening act, they completely dominated the atmosphere of the venue. This album features passionate performances by second-generation vocalist Darrel Beach, along with guitarist Pete Reveen, bassist Michael Hannon, and drummer Khurt Maier. It also includes two live tracks featuring original vocalist Jimmi Bleacher. Recorded on March 20, 1992, at Bananas in California, this album features a mix that cuts out unnecessary banter to bring the raw energy of the performance to the forefront. It’s a work that allows listeners to fully experience the raw intensity, unity, and true prowess of SALTYDOG as a live band.
