Neil Young is a solitary legend. TONIGHT'S THE NIGHT", his eighth solo album released in 1975 and widely regarded as one of the greatest albums of his career, is now available in an "Anniversary Edition" with six additional bonus tracks to celebrate its 50th anniversary! Also available as a 2-CD analog set! Neil Young, a legendary solo artist who began his career in 1969, continues to release his latest works, while simultaneously reissuing his past studio and live works, and releasing rare and unreleased live recordings. He has also reissued/excavated his vast catalog of sound sources in various series. In 1975, he released his eighth solo album, "Tonight's the Night," which is widely regarded as one of his best works. Recorded in 1973, following the success of the classic "Harvest," it did not actually see the light of day until almost two years later. The album is also widely known as a tribute to Young's old friends, Crazy Horse guitarist Danny Whittington and roadie Bruce Berry, who both passed away from drugs the year before the recording. Recorded on analog tape, TONIGHT'S THE NIGHT contains some of Young's most brilliant and emotionally charged songs. These include two versions of the title track, "Borrowed Tune," "World on a String," "Mellow My Mind," "Tired Eyes," "Come On Baby Let's Go Downtown," "Albuquerque," "Roll Another Number (For The Road)" and more. On the 50th Anniversary Edition of TONIGHT'S THE NIGHT, Young has also replaced "Lookout Joe" with a previously unreleased "1973 version" from the original album session recorded at SIR Studios in 1973. It was replaced by the The 50th Anniversary Edition of "Tonight's the Night" will be released in the form of the original album with six new bonus tracks.The additional tracks "Walk On" and "Tonight's The Night (take 3)" are unreleased versions, and "Raised On Robbery" and "Speakin' Out Jam" featuring Joni Mitchell were originally included on "NEIL YOUNG ARCHIVES VOL II" featuring Joni Mitchell. Wonderin'" was previously streamed only on NYA and is being released on CD for the first time. The bonus tracks are all being released on analog for the first time.
