Rush Hour, the most important label in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, has once again produced a compilation that re-evaluates the Japanese music scene from an obscure perspective! The label's general manager ANTAL, who often visits Japan to dig up ALL GOOD MUSIC regardless of genre, and ONDAS, the leader of STUDIO MULE's pioneering "MIDNIGHT IN TOKYO" compilation series of Japanese music discoveries, are known for their aesthetic sense that is recognized even by experts. ONDAS leader dubby is known for his aesthetic sense that is recognized by even the most seasoned of musicians. Techno Kay Volume One" is a compilation that focuses on Japanese proto-techno, electro-pop, and synth-pop from the late Showa period of the 1980s, which straddled the bubble era, and selects it from the perspective of the dance floor. (What a surprise! This is a CD and LP-only release, with no digital copies.) Techno-pop originated in Kraftwerk and was developed in Japan by YMO and others. The catchy pop melody lines with synthesizers and tight, just rhythms with drum machines, combined with a futuristic image, influenced many artists and contributed to the development of the techno scene in the 90's. The techno-pop music of the 90's was influenced by the music of the 90's, and the techno-pop music of the 90's was influenced by the music of the 90's.Dubby & Antal will focus on these songs, which are hardly known to the rest of the world and have been talked about by Japanese music lovers and enthusiasts, and which will later be called techno songs.
