This is an independent female vocal album from Canada, a vocal powerhouse, with a somewhat off-kilter singing style. This album is also recommended for those who like SSW music, as the band later became more country oriented. While featuring songs by Sting, Prince, Elton John, and others, she sings her own carefully crafted compositions in a simple, piano-driven voice in a unified atmosphere. On the back cover, he credits his father, who passed away in 2000 at the age of 61, and the album's charm seems to lie in the fact that even though it appears positive on the surface, there is a hint of a shadow over it.
