Description:

Nigel Ayers' sound art project has so far released works in electro-acoustic, musique concrete, hybrid beat, sound collage, post-industrial music, ambient, and noise. The current work is a reissue of a 1991 release, a piece in which rainbow-colored electronics form drones and small shapes that loop in a slow progression. Occasionally, discreet concrete sounds appear that resemble small whistles, clocks, hinges, the sound of water, or the rubbing of sandpaper, and although three of the five tracks are between 12 and 24 minutes long, everything progresses quickly enough to keep the listener on the edge of their seat.
