This summer, RHINO RECORDS will release "SUMMER OF '69," a series of analog reissues of albums released in 1969, the year of the anniversary.The lineup includes many classic albums released around 1969 from artists who appeared at Woodstock, such as the Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, CS&N, and Arlo Guthrie. Tim Buckley, one of acid folk's biggest cult heroes, remains charismatic and popular even 40 years after his death, and before his death in 1975 from a drug overdose at the age of only 28, he was known for his wide-ranging sound that included folk, rock, psychedelia, jazz, and even soul, as well as his beautifully crafted music. The albums he left behind for Elektra Records are being reissued as an analog box set!
