The Keith Jarrett Trio is the pinnacle of piano trios. The legendary performance at Tokyo Bunka Kaikan in Ueno, Tokyo, in April 2001, which was the trio's first Japan tour since their return to Japan, is finally being released on silver disc after eight years. This legendary performance took place amidst the high expectations of the packed audience! The recording features a variety of standard numbers that are familiar to jazz fans. Among them, "Strollin'," "Yesterdays," and "Sleepin' Bee" were recorded for the first time on CD for Keith. The last song on the CD, "Stella in Starlight," was performed during the sound check at the Shibuya Orchard Hall concert. This is the first time for Keith to record the soundcheck performance on CD.
