The Foundations, a popular UK pop-soul band created by Tony Macaulay and John MacLeod, recorded live for BBC from 1967 to 1969. Tony Macaulay and John MacLeod created pop songs filled with the British atmosphere of the 1960s, and mixed groups of black and white sing soulful songs such as "Baby Now That I've Found You," "Back On My Feet Again," and "Build Me Up Buttercup. The group had a string of big hits, including "Baby Now That I've Found You," "Back On My Feet Again," "Build Me Up Buttercup," and "In The Bad, Bad Old Days. The BBC recordings here highlight just how popular they were and the inevitability that led to some of their finest pop songs. The restored broadcasts, including realistic MC's and interviews, are a true relive of the 60's!
