In 2017, she released her debut single, “Place We Were Made,” and signed with Atlantic UK. She quickly gained attention as a promising new artist on the UK pop scene. After releasing several EPs and being the only UK artist selected for the soundtrack album of the film *Birds of Prey: And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn*, she signed with Ed Sheeran’s label, Gingerbread Man Records, in 2021. That same year, she released her debut album, "YOU SIGNED UP FOR THIS," which peaked at No. 2 on the UK Albums Chart. She followed this up in June 2023 with her second album, *The Good Witch*. It debuted at No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart and also entered the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart in the U.S. Now, she is releasing her first new album in about three years. Titled *FLORESCENCE*, the album was co-produced with two-time Grammy Award-winning producer Ian Fitchuk (Kacey Musgraves, Beyoncé, Chris Stapleton). The album also features duets with Julia Michaels and Marcus Mumford. Since releasing *The Good Witch*, which reached No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart, Maisie Peters has not only opened for such heavyweights as Taylor Swift, Coldplay, Conan Gray, and Noah Khan, and has successfully completed her own world tour and performed at Glastonbury, making for a truly whirlwind few years. However, after spending years constantly traveling the world on tour, she realized by the end of 2024 that she had finally reached her limit and felt the toll beginning to take its toll on her physical and mental health, so she decided to slow down. So, to pause the dizzying merry-go-round of being a “pop star” and reclaim her life offstage, she decided to return to her hometown. The quiet time she found there served as a “reset,” guiding her back to a grounded state—both as a person and as an artist.
