Based in Hamburg, Germany, this piano trio has been active since 2013. Since its formation, the trio has received high acclaim in the media and has appeared on ZDF (German National Radio 2) and NDR (North German Radio). In Japan, their performance of Brahms on their first visit to Japan in 2015 was broadcast on NHK FM's "Best of Classical". The concept of the orchestra is to record and perform the complete piano trio for each composer every year. Mendelssohn's expectations for their performance were very high since they are also from Hamburg, and they have performed throughout Europe to great acclaim. This disc is a live recording of their performance at the Philharmonia Hall in St. Petersburg in June 2018.
