Violinist Yasunao Ishida is a member of "Bee" and the hard-core string ensemble "Ishida-gumi. His musicality has been highly acclaimed in various fields, such as "a fascinating performance that expresses delicate and graceful music in even finer detail and is fragrant with purified and deep poetic sentiment" (Ongaku no Tomo). This first release from FONTEC presents Ishida at his most true potential in the form of a single album of once-in-a-lifetime live performances. The program of the day is Beethoven on the royal road, and the encore is a tribute to Beethoven by the master Kreisler. The album is a unique live performance with a lot to listen to, such as the breathtaking exchanges with his partner Tsuyoshi Nakajima.
