Armenian pianist prodigy Tigran Hamasyan plays Armenian themes with Norwegian musicians in this second ECM release from 2016 Tigran's exploration of Armenian music with leading Norwegian musicians who have participated in many ECM productions. Tigran is at the center of the sound, bringing in melodies that are transformed from ancient folk songs in Komitas' compositions, and the inspiration of the members.
